The Pride Festival, my novella contribution to the I Heart SapphFic Pride Project, is out today in both e-book and paperback formats!
June 1st is the beginning of Pride month, and to celebrate, I wrote a story about four teenagers (17-18 year-olds) figuring things out as they help launch the first annual Pride festival in their town.
Their story is pretty low-angst and light on the sex; I wanted to explore coming out with positive spins all around and tell a cute story while I was at it. I really loved the idea of telling a story about the next generation getting together to discover themselves and promote inclusivity, and I hope you'll be able to see a current or a younger self in these characters along the way.
