This book takes place in a future where humans are able to create – through a process owned by a company called SoulMatch, of course – a perfect soulmate for themselves or their children. For a price, because everything has a price. The soulmatches are then schooled in everything from math and science, to how to be the perfect partner for the person they were created for, before they get delivered to their soulmates upon completion of their program.
But what happens when one of them doesn’t believe she was made for the man she was created for? What happens when a new SoulMatch student shows up out of nowhere and suggests that SoulMatch is lying to them? What happens when she falls in love with her?
