The next book in the Sports Series is now on available!
Side By Side tells the story of two women who met as teenagers as part of a top figure skating academy run by US Figure Skating. They’re, at first, competitors for the coveted Team US spots, but they are also just two girls trying to figure out some feelings that run beyond friendship.
After an interrupted first kiss, one of them is forced to leave the academy while the other continues her figure skating career, never quite reaching the heights she and her overbearing sister and mother aspire for her. When she’s finally on the precipice, as the oldest skater who would ever make the Olympic team for Team USA, her pairs partner goes down with an injury.
Not wanting to stake as an individual, Chandler goes in search of a new partner, but who she finds isn’t exactly who that overbearing sister/coach wants for her. If Chandler can convince Belle to skate with her on the national stage, though, it sure will make a splash and might be enough for her to earn that spot.
The only problem? She wouldn’t be able to skate in the Olympics with Belle. Oh, wait, there’s another problem, too. She’s also falling in love with the woman she hurt all those years ago.
